Yantai Zhongjia Mining Co., Ltd.
Introduction to the 14,000-ton-per-day gold ore processing plant project

Yantai Zhongjia Mining Co., Ltd. is a joint-stock company established through a Sino-foreign partnership between Yantai Dahedong Gold Mine and Canada’s M.J. Resources Inc. (stock code: MJS). The company is located within the city of Yantai, Shandong Province, China.

Yantai Zhongjia Mining Co., Ltd. has built a new gold processing plant with a capacity of 6,000 tons per day. Construction began in October 2010 and the plant was completed and put into operation in December 2011. Following a second expansion, its current processing capacity has reached 14,000 tons per day.

This project is being constructed under an EPC general contracting arrangement by Yantai Jinyuan Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. The design and process are advanced and well-reasoned; the equipment performance has reached world-leading levels; and the mineral processing recovery rate exceeds 98%.

The crushing system adopts a three-stage, one-closed-circuit process, all using METSO crushers. The coarse crushing stage employs one C1400 crusher, the medium crushing stage uses one HP500 crusher, and the fine crushing stage utilizes two HP500 crushers. This advanced crushing configuration significantly reduces energy consumption in the grinding system while ensuring consistent particle size for the ground material.

The grinding process employs a single-stage closed-circuit grinding system. The equipment used is the GMGj3600*4500 wet grid-type mill, a patented product of Jinyuan Company. This mill offers excellent grinding performance, is easy to install, and delivers significant energy-saving benefits.

The flotation process employs a circuit consisting of one roughing stage, two cleaning stages, and two scavenging stages, utilizing the JYF/BS-K24 aerated combined flotation unit manufactured by Jin Yuan Mining Machinery.
The concentrate is dewatered in two stages—first by a thickener and then by a ceramic filter. The tailings are pumped to a tailings pond for storage, maximizing the reuse of tailings water and thereby meeting environmental protection requirements.
