In 2015, our company undertook the construction of a 300-ton-per-day carbon-in-pulp plant in Zimbabwe. The mine employs a full-slurry cyanide carbon-in-pulp process. The ore undergoes two-stage closed-circuit crushing, followed by two-stage closed-circuit grinding and classification. The process includes a two-stage pre-leaching step plus seven-stage adsorption and recovery stages, with tailings being dewatered and disposed of dry. After desorption-electrolysis and smelting, the final gold product is obtained with a grade as high as 99.99%.
 
This mine project represents another turnkey contract awarded to our company in Africa. To shorten the construction period, we adopted a concurrent design-and-construction approach: once the civil engineering design was completed, construction crews immediately moved onto the site and began work. At the same time, process design and equipment fabrication were carried out in parallel. After the equipment and installation materials were shipped to the site, the civil engineering work was essentially complete.
 
The entire construction project took seven months. During this period, our company’s construction personnel overcame difficulties such as unfamiliarity with the local climate and soil conditions, shortages of supplies, and harsh working conditions, enabling the mine to begin operations smoothly.
