Jinyuan Mining is undertaking the construction of Asia’s largest spodumene mine.
——Shandong 6,000 t/d Spodumene Beneficiation Project
 
The 6,000 t/d spodumene beneficiation plant constructed by our company is currently the largest spodumene beneficiation plant in Asia. The beneficiation process is complex and technically challenging, involving a combination of processes such as heavy-medium separation, spiral chute and shaking-table gravity separation, flotation, and magnetic separation. Given its large scale and intricate process, there is currently no domestic production experience available for reference in the construction of such a spodumene beneficiation plant.
 
After receiving the design assignment, our company’s design department immediately conducted technical investigations and studied various design options. During this period, flotation and gravity separation tests were carried out for more than ten days. Based on the test results, we developed a process flowchart, with each step undergoing multiple rounds of verification. After thorough on-site communication, we ultimately created a customized process flowchart tailored specifically for the client.
 
The project broke ground in March 2017 and, after more than three months of construction, installation of power lines and facilities, was energized on September 5 and underwent single-machine trial runs. From October 27 to 30, the entire line successfully completed no-load joint commissioning and water testing, and on October 31, it began trial runs with material feed. By December 2017, production capacity, concentrate grade, and concentrate output had all reached the design targets, and the beneficiation plant’s production and operations had stabilized.
 
This project represents another exemplary undertaking established by our company. It has broken new ground in the industry in terms of construction time, production scale, and production efficiency. The large-scale production technology for heavy-medium flotation separation fills a gap in China’s spodumene beneficiation field.
